Today, I’m excited to share the next step in that journey.
This is more than a new domain name. It’s a reflection of who we’ve become, the organizations we serve, and the future we’re building.
The name has a story.
Before founding Serendipity, I owned a software company that sold into Fortune 1000 organizations. Like many founders, I spent countless hours reaching out to prospective customers.
One opportunity stands out.
I had been pursuing an executive at Estée Lauder for months. Between her and her team, they had received hundreds of emails from me. Then one day, she finally replied with something I’ll never forget:
“Where have you been all my life? This is exactly what I need. This is serendipity.”
I laughed when I read it.
From her perspective, our connection felt completely unexpected—a fortunate coincidence at exactly the right moment.
From mine, it was the result of persistence, intentionality, and a carefully executed strategy.
That experience fundamentally changed how I think about business.
What many people call “luck” is often the result of consistent execution behind the scenes.
The right systems.
The right timing.
The right message.
The right people.
You can create the conditions where serendipity happens.
That idea became the foundation of our company.
When we launched six years ago, our mission was simple: help businesses grow by getting more value from HubSpot — to help companies grow predictably by reverse engineering growth (in other words, help them “create serendipity”).
Since then, we’ve had the privilege of:
